San Francisco Tickets
According to archaeological researches, the first human to inhabit San Francisco roots back to 3000 BC. The founding of the city was in 1776 by some Spain colonists, but the first European visit was in 1769 by a group explorers led by Don Gaspar de Portolà . In 1821, San Francisco took its independence from Spain and it moved to be part of Mexico. At the time, the city wasn’t named San Francisco but its name was Yerba Buena. And by 1846, after Captain John B. Montgomery claimed the town for the US during the Mexican-American War, the name changed to San Francisco in January 30, 1847.
